Portrait of Mulanduleni Niilungu

Hi, I’m Mulanduleni Niilungu — an Information Technology professional with a strong interest in Augmented Reality (AR) and education technology. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology at the University of Namibia, where my research focuses on developing AR applications to support learning, especially for complex programming concepts.

With a blend of software development and teaching experience, I enjoy building practical solutions that improve how people work and learn. As a freelance developer at MIT House, I’ve designed and implemented solutions including inventory systems, websites, and digital tools that support small and medium-sized businesses.

I also lecture part-time at the Namibia University of Science and Technology, teaching Computer User Skills and Information Competence. My career has allowed me to bridge hands-on development with academic work and continuous professional growth.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Augmented Reality development for immersive learning experiences.
  • Database management (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
  • Business process optimisation and workflow improvement.
  • Programming: Java, C++, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Python.
  • Project management: Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

I’m committed to lifelong learning and continue building expertise through short courses and certifications in data analysis and big data technologies.
